Zu Zu's Petals is an updated version of a vintage 1930's quilt I found on an antiquing trip to Rountop, Texas. Most 30's quilts ere straight set with sashings and a plain border. Using two different sizes of petals and an applique border gives the quilt more interest. The applique is fused and machine stitched, but can be made using any applique method.
