I love butterflies! The butterfly block in this pattern is one where you can use many colors, stitches, beads, buttons or other embellishments to decorate as much as you like. The machine appliqué technique is one I've used in other patterns. It uses fusible appliqué and the decorative stitches which are on many of today's sewing machines.
With this pattern you will learn to make sixteen lovely butterfly blocks with embellished machine applique. Then, you can use them in four different ways as wall hangings or table decorations.
