Spring Melody

I designed the Spring Melody quilt completely around the beautiful collection of fabrics used.
There are 12 pieced blocks which are framed with a dark sage green. Each block is then set on the diagonal using a variety of fabrics that compliment that particular block. After the initial framing borders, I added a piano key� border with pinwheels in the corners, which again uses the many colors of the blocks. This all ends with borders that settle the quilt and a dark binding to frame the entire picture.
This quilt finishes at 101� x 121� which will fit a king sized bed nicely or will fit a queen size bed as a bedspread.
The backing is a beautiful paisley which is also incorporated into the blocks and borders.
