This is the second piano quilt pattern. The side view of a grand piano, make sure to take a look at the front view too. These are great gifts for the music lover in your life either as a wall hanging, lap quilt, or large quilt for the bed. With the black piano you can really have some fun with the back ground color fabric.

Sizes: The main instruction is for a 42"x42" quilt top, there are two additional pages with measurements to scale the image to a smaller 28"x28" and larger 56"x56". Add borders for even more variations, border instructions not included.

Method: These image style quilts are made in a stripped and pieced method. Step 1 cut strips of varying sizes. Step 2 cut into different length pieces and label alphabetically. Then step 3 follow a full page labeled color image, sewing piece by piece and row by row. Thin lines are made with iron-on ribbon or tight zig-zag stitch.
