Patches of Life is made with Nine-Patch, Triangle in a Square and Triangle Pieced Square Blocks. The Triangle in a Square blocks give this quilt the illusion of curves. You can finish the outside edge with a Straight, Wave or Sawtooth Border.

There are two sizes of blocks to choose from in Patches of Life. The Queen size quilt is made from 6in finished size blocks. The Nine-Patch uses 2-1/2in strips. Use a Jelly Roll or cut your own assortment of 2-1/2in strips. Triangle Pieced Squares and Triangle in a Square patches are made from 7in and 8in
strips.

The Lap quilt is made from 4-1/2in finished size blocks. The Nine-Patch uses 2in strips. You can trim off a 1/2in from each Jelly Roll strip or cut 2in strips from yardage. Triangle Pieced Squares and Triangle in a Square patches are made from 5-1/2in and 7in strips.
