This 70- by 88-inch quilt is an eye-popping design that Sue Garman based on an old quilt she spotted at Houstons big annual quilt show one year. She tells everyone that making the quilt was a great experience: she fell in love with intricate piecing while working on this quilt and got so excited about it that she has made many more intricately pieced quilts.
