Snapshot - Quilt Pattern #298 by Mountainpeek Creations™ MPC

Snapshot is a pieced quilt pattern from Mountainpeek Creations™, designed by Kari Nichols. Theme fabric squares are double-framed like photographs, then joined with sashing and an inner border. The second frame can be cut from one fabric or from a scrappy mix of 1½" strips, and the pattern runs from a wallhanging up to a king.

Finished sizes

• Wall — 40½" x 49½" (2 theme fat quarters)
• Throw — 60½" x 75½" (5 theme fat quarters)
• Queen — 80½" x 101½" (10 theme fat quarters)
• King — 100½" x 114½" (13 theme fat quarters)

Techniques used

• Double-framed theme fabric blocks
• Scrappy option using 1½" x WOF strips for the second frame

The pattern is labelled an intermediate pieced quilt.

Good to know

More fabric may be needed if you are fussy cutting your theme prints.
