Slideways - Quilt Pattern #368 by Mountainpeek Creations™ MPC

Slideways is a pieced quilt pattern from Mountainpeek Creations™, designed by Kari Nichols. Big blocks cut from fat quarters are offset by narrow "slider" strips and joined with sashing and an inner border, which gives the quilt its shifted, off-kilter look. It is written in five sizes, from a crib-batting throw up to a king.

Finished sizes

• Throw — 46½" x 59½" (4 fat quarters)
• Twin — 63½" x 86½" (8 fat quarters)
• Double — 80½" x 104½" (14 fat quarters)
• Queen — 97½" x 122½" (20 fat quarters)
• King — 114½" x 132½" (26 fat quarters)

Techniques used

• Fat quarter big blocks with slider strips
• Based on a ¼" seam allowance

The pattern is labelled an intermediate pieced quilt.

Good to know

Additional fabric is needed if you use a border stripe — cut it length of fabric.
