Great Outdoors - Quilt Pattern #222 by Mountainpeek Creations™ MPC

The Great Outdoors is a pieced and appliqued quilt pattern from Mountainpeek Creations™, designed by Anna-Marie McNeely. Large flying geese units in light and dark fabrics build the pieced background, and wool applique in four colours adds the outdoor motifs on top. It's written in four sizes, from a square throw right up to a king.

Finished sizes

• Throw — 60½" x 60½"
• Twin — 76½" x 92½"
• Queen — 92½" x 108½"
• King — 108½" x 124½"

Fabric requirements

• Background — 1½ yds (throw) to 5⅔ yds (king)
• Light — ⅞ yd to 3¼ yds
• Dark — 1 yd to 3⅝ yds
• Outer border — 1½ yds to 2½ yds
• Wool, 60" wide — 4 fat quarters, 1 each of 4 colours (throw); ⅓ yd, ½ yd or ⅔ yd each of 4 colours for the larger sizes
• Plus binding, backing and batting (twin through king)
