Fabulous Fling is a pieced quilt pattern from Mountainpeek Creations™, designed by Kari Nichols. A main print is combined with accent fat quarters and set with sashing, then finished with an inner and outer border. It's a good showcase for a large-scale focus print, and the main print can be fussy cut to center a particular motif.

• Baby — 42" x 51" (2 accent fat quarters)
• Throw — 60" x 69" (6 accent fat quarters)
• Twin — 69" x 87" (8 accent fat quarters)
• Queen — 87" x 96" (12 accent fat quarters)
• King — 105" x 114" (16 accent fat quarters)

Fabric requirements

• Main print — ½ yd (baby) to 3¾ yds (king)
• Accent fat quarters — 2 to 16 depending on size
• Sashing — ⅔ yd to 4⅝ yds
• Inner border — ¼ yd to ⅝ yd
• Outer border — ⅞ yd to 2 yds
• Plus binding, backing and batting (crib through king)

Good to know

The main print yardage is given for strip cutting. Fussy cutting a specific design may take more fabric.
