Consolidation - Quilt Pattern #284 by Mountainpeek Creations™ MPC

Consolidation is a pieced quilt pattern from Mountainpeek Creations™, designed by Kari Nichols. Block centers are cut from fat eighths or fat quarters — the pattern charts both — and consolidated behind two coordinating sashing fabrics before the outer border goes on. Five sizes are charted, from a baby quilt up to a square king.

Finished sizes

• Baby — 49½" x 57½" (9 fat eighths or 5 fat quarters)
• Throw — 57½" x 73½" (13 fat eighths or 7 fat quarters)
• Twin — 73½" x 89½" (22 fat eighths or 11 fat quarters)
• Queen — 89½" x 105½" (32 fat eighths or 16 fat quarters)
• King — 121½" x 121½" (52 fat eighths or 26 fat quarters)

Fabric requirements

Two sashing fabrics are used in equal amounts, from 1 yd each at baby size up to 4⅞ yds each at king. Yardage is also charted for the outer border, binding and backing, plus the batting size needed.
