Life is Like a Box of Chocolates Quilt Pattern

This quilt pattern works with all different fabrics. It is great for large scale designs or kids fabrics. More great fabrics I can think of are: sports fabrics, batiks, 1930's reproduction fabrics, or plaids! That is just what I can think up! I am sure the possibilities are endless! The checkerboards are pieced with long strips.

This pattern is written for 5 different sizes from baby to king size.

Finished sizes are:
36 x 48
48 x 60
60 x 84
84 x 96
96 x 108

Fabric Requirements vary by size, this is for the 48 x 60 quilt:

12 fat quarters (at least half with larger designs or more interesting fabrics)
3 yards backing
1/2 yard for binding
