One day while shopping, I fell in love with the floral fabric which is in the borders and large diamonds of this quilt. I only purchased 2 yards thinking I would put it away and find a use later, but it wouldn't let me. The next day I was digging through my fabric stash to find fabrics which would play with the floral one. I even found a nice stripe for the sashing, but a stripe certainly isn't necessary. This strippy style design uses 3 different but fairly simple blocks, and it should work with other large floral fabrics that you might like.

This lovely feminine design will look wonderful using one of the many large floral, oriental or paisley fabrics available today. The blocks are quick and easy to piece. Then a perfect stripe or contrast fabric will show off your strings of blocks. Advanced beginner
