A collection of more than 40 patterns for animal-themed bed quilts, rugs, mats and wall hangings all made using pre-cut fabric rolls often known as jelly rolls. Quilters love pre-cut fabric strips because they are quick and easy to use and the fabrics always coordinate. All of the projects in this book are constructed from pre-cut fabric strips that are then sub-cut into 60-degree shapes before being pieced, and the book includes a 60 degree template that can be traced or downloaded for ease. All of the techniques are explained with detailed step-by-step instructions and comprehensive diagrams. There is also advice about preparing and cutting the strips, the importance of seam allowance, piecing and quilting. This collection features over 40 patterns for animal-themed quilts, rugs and more – perfect for children's bedrooms and nurseries. In addition to the main animals, there are designs for motifs including paw prints and even fish – ideal for pet bowl mats – and there are instructions for how to mix and match these elements to make personalised variations.
