The set of 7 Hexagon Templates range in size from 1″ up to 4″, and are designed to draw around and cut out.
All of the sizes enable you to use the hexagon for hand or machine piecing. Each template has a 3/8″ seam allowance added, which makes it much easier when hand piecing. For hand piecing, use the outer edge of the template for fabric and the inside edge for the paper template.
Example – If you need a 1 1/2″ finished size, use the 2″ outer edge to cut the fabric and the inner edge 1 1/2″ to cut the paper template.
You can use the larger templates to cut and fold over batting and stitch together. The smaller templates are a great size to use for smaller fussy cutting projects.
The templates are also ideal to use with the 18 mm Rotary Cutter to ensure precision when cutting out.
