Grand Stand is a panel-friendly pieced quilt pattern from Mountainpeek Creations™. A large theme fabric or panel centre is framed with narrow strips and then surrounded by rows of large and small accent blocks, so a favourite print stays the star of the quilt. The pattern is written in a large version and a small version.

Finished sizes

• Large version (#328-LG) — 60½" x 68½"
• Small version (#328-SM) — 54½" x 67½"

Panel or theme fabric

Uses a theme fabric or panel: ⅞ yd for the large version, ⅔ yd for the small version, or 1¼ yd of a directional fabric cut along the length of fabric.

Fabric requirements

• Framing strips and inner border — 1 yd
• Large accent blocks — ⅓ yd, or 1 yd if directional
• Small accent blocks — 4 to 5 fat eighths
• Outer border — 1⅓ yd
• Binding — ⅝ yd
• Backing — 3¾ yds (large version) or 3⅓ yds (small version)
• Batting — twin size
