Complete Pattern SetThis delightful quilt is based on a 1930s era alphabet quilt that Sue Garman spotted at the big annual quilt show in Houston in 2012. The original quilt design was made for the Nancy Page Quilt Club� that was published in Sunday newspapers across America beginning in 1930. Sues pattern is an adaptation of this quilt, though she modified all of the drawings and sizing of the blocks. Each of six different monthly patterns contain letter blocks or letters and a pieced block. The letters are not done in alphabetical order; rather, they are grouped to maximize the use of some fabrics that are repeated in multiple blocks. The finished quilt measures 63 by 74 inches.
