This 12³ wide table runner can be made in either a 46³ or 56³ long version with your choice of edge finishing, embellishment and materials. The wonder of diversity is a chance to celebrate and honor various traditions and customs. While originally conceived to honor the Jewish Festival of Lights and the lighting of the Menorah, but I quickly realized this runner could easily be transformed to celebrate anything celestial, the 4th of July, birthdays, graduations, or any other star studded achievements. Think colorways and embellishments! Each of the 9 stars is large enough to accommodate a candle or tea light with the center star a bit larger to allow for a bigger centerpiece. The 46³ version is felted woven wool with a wrapped or turned wool edge. The 56³ version is felted wool blends with edge stitching. Both use cotton batik fabric.
