Do you wish you could adjust a pattern—just a little or a lot—to better suit your body type? The Fashion Fitting & Design series is an intermediate to advanced course created to give you the tools and confidence to make your clothing sewing experience both successful and enjoyable.
This program is divided into three units, with each unit consisting of three monthly sessions. Step by step, you’ll learn how to refine fit, customize designs, and expand your garment‑making skills, all while building techniques you can apply to future projects.

Download the supply list here.

In Unit #1 we focus on each student making a personal Sloper. In Unit #2 you will learn how to use your sloper to make Fitting changes to commercial patterns. In Unit #3 you will learn how to make Design changes to commercial patterns. Susan will also demonstrate how she has made a self designed dress using her own Sloper.
