Bohemian Carpet Bag Pattern

The Bohemian Carpet Bag Pattern by Sew Liberated is a roomy bag pattern with a large main compartment - perfect for that weekend get away!  In addition, there are instructions for an exterior zippered phone pocket.  This pattern uses a tubular purse frame and is easy to make with a finished size of 16 1/2"W x 16"H x 6 3/4"D.

Materials Needed:

• 1 1/3 yard of 44/45" or 54" wide heavyweight fabric for exterior of main bag (wool, canvas, corduroy, home decor fabrics)
• 1 1/3 yards 44/45" wide light-weight fabric for the lining
• 1 yard of 44/45" or 54" wide coordinating heavy weight fabric for the exterior corner accents and handles (wool, canvas, corduroy, home decor faux suede good for the experienced sewist)
• 1 1/3 yards 44" wide fusible fleece
• 16" tubular frame (available at Ghees)
• 1 set of purse feet
• 1" swivel clasp for the  key fob
• 1 piece of 1/4" foamboard, 7" x 17"
• 1 piece of 1/2" foamboard, 7" x 17"
• (1) 7" coordinating zipper
