Baltimore Squared - Complete Pattern Set

Baltimore Squared is a lovely block-of-the-month album quilt done in reds and greens with a touch of gold.  The nine 15-inch (finished size) blocks are easy to make and the airy quilt sparkles with its spacious layout.  This block-of-the-month set includes ten individual patterns.  The first nine patterns provide instructions for making one applique block; the tenth pattern provides instructions on making the sashings, cornerstones, and border, and assembling the quilt.  The finished quilt measures 76 by 76 inches.

The patterns are simple and easy to make for most applique quilters.  The wide sashing strips add a sense of airiness to the quilt, while the Lemoyne Star cornerstones make the quilt sparkle like snowflakes - and all are surrounded by a joyful ruffled double-swag border.

Please note that the blocks in this pattern are different than the blocks in the Simply Baltimore pattern - some of the blocks can be used in either quilt, but some of them had to be completely modified to accommodate a straight versus on-point setting.
