Autumnal Equiblox Tableware

Last year I designed the Autumnal Equiblox wall quilt. I had so much fun making the blocks for that quilt that I decided to make more using different colors. What to do when you have more blocks? Design placemats & a table runner for them! The blocks will look lovely in many different colors, and you will have fun using all those machine stitches to decorate your table.

Twelve placemats and a table runner can be made using an embellished appliqué technique. The decorative machine stitches create interest and sparkle in each block and look wonderful in summer or spring fabrics as well. These make great seasonal gifts.
