It frames a single fabric panel with a pieced inner and outer border and small corner accent blocks — a quick way to turn one panel into a finished quilt. The layout works with either a vertical or a horizontal panel.

Designed for a 36" x 43" panel, trimmed to 35½" x 42½". Vertical or horizontal panel friendly.

Techniques used

• Panel trimming and squaring
• Pieced borders with corner accent blocks
• Straight seams throughout — no curves or appliqué
• Based on a ¼" seam allowance

• Corner borders: 1 yd
• Top, bottom and side borders: 1⅜ yds
• Narrow accent border: ½ yd
• Corner accent squares: ⅛ yd
• Binding: ⅝ yd
• Backing: 3¾ yds · Twin size batting
