Cubby Holes - Quilt Pattern #420 by Mountainpeek Creations™ MPC

Cubby Holes is a pieced panel quilt pattern from Mountainpeek Creations™, designed by Kari Nichols, written for three different sized center panels. A panel or theme fabric is framed with a panel border, a pieced border and a third border, with large accent blocks and corner squares filling the cubby holes around it. The outer border is optional, so each panel size gives you two finished sizes.

Finished sizes

• 22½" x 40½" panel — 42½" x 60½" without outer border, 53½" x 71½" with it
• 28½" x 40½" panel — 48½" x 60½" without outer border, 59½" x 71½" with it
• 34½" x 40½" panel — 54½" x 60½" without outer border, 65½" x 71½" with it

Panel required

A center panel or theme fabric is needed in one of the three sizes above (⅔ yd, ⅞ yd or 1 yd; 1⅙ yds for any size if directional along the length of fabric).

Fabric requirements

• Accent 1 — ⅙ yd; accent 2 — ⅛ to ⅙ yd
• Large accent blocks — ½ yd; corner squares — ¼ yd
• Panel border, pieced border and third border — 1⅙ to 1⅓ yds
• Outer border (optional) — 1¼ to 1⅜ yds
• Binding — ⅝ to ⅔ yd; backing — 2⅞ to 4⅛ yds depending on size and border
• Twin size batting, all versions
